About

Welcome! My name is Camila Cortina and I am a running coach and strength trainer for beginner to advanced athletes. I have been running for over 15 years, starting in junior/senior high school with cross country and track before moving to a division 1 collegiate team and now training post-collegiately for long distance events. I began in 7th grade running cross country in the fall and tried out hurdles and high jump during track in the spring. I continued to compete in these events in track until my junior year of high school when I switched to middle distance events, the 800 meter and the mile. On the track in college I mainly competed in the mile, 5k, and 3k steeplechase (getting to use my hurdling background). After my undergraduate degree, I moved to Austin, Texas and began training for longer distance events, half and full marathons. In my marathon debut I ran 3:00:19… So close to sub 3 on my first try! My next three marathon finish times were 3:09 (Boston 2021), 3:20 (Grandma’s 2023), 3:16 (Boston 2024), so I am no stranger to going through ups and downs in my running career. I have experience training for practically every distance, including the ultramarathon (I completed the Vermont 100k in June 2022!). Whether you are just beginning your running journey, trying to set new prs or just training for your next big race and wanting a solid training plan, I can help!
